Was She Naive or Crazy?

This book sucked me in and I finished in two days. I could not believe the words that I was reading. I’m not sure who was crazier Verity or Lowen. Lowen continued to stay at the house when she clearly knew something was wrong in her gut. This reminded me of times when I did not trust my instincts and ended up in a messed-up situation.

So I had to ask myself was Lowen at such a low point in her life where she chose to fight her instincts? Or was she crazy too?
